Overview
MeshMark is a software copyright identification/protection of 3D graphics models by embedding "invisible" watermarks (signatures) on digital 3D mesh
objects and detecting these watermarks when needed. Such a scheme can be used for copyright protection
and "ownership" recognition of digital 3D mesh objects. A copyright owner can embed his personal key number as an
"invisible" watermark on 3D mesh objects. Later on, he can examine whether a given 3D mesh object,
which is suspected for being illegally copied, contains his own watermark (personal key number) and use it
as legal indication.

Copyright ownership proof for digital 3D images can be performed by using key numbers that identify
the author (copyright owner) and are embedded in the digital 3D mesh object. In case
of suspicion of theft, exhaustive search of the original in the copyright owner's multimedia databases
is a cumbersome and costly task. MeshMark transforms the copyright owner's personal key number in an
"invisible" watermark and embeds it in the body of the 3D mesh object. The watermark can be easily detected
by the copyright owner by using MeshMark without any need to search in his multimedia database. Thus
he can have an indication proof of ownership in the case of theft, that can be used
in conjunction with classical procedures for copyright protection
NOTE: Meshmark is used to watermark the 3D models rathen than the object image texture. If you want to watermark texture you can use Eikonamark to this end.
Important note:
Meshmark works only with VRML2 files.VRML1 files are not supported.
